New B2.2 Evening Course Starting This Week!
Looking for an evening Spanish course at B1.2 level? It starts this week at Dime! We're opening a new in-person Spanish course for upper-intermediate students, level B2.2, held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 19:00 to 20:50. Write to us and we’ll schedule a free level test to confirm if this group is the right fit for you.
New Beginners Spanish Course in May 2025!
Next week we’re starting a new Spanish course for foreigners at the beginner level. It will be a Spanish course for absolute beginners (level A1), starting next Tuesday, May 6.If you’ve just moved to Barcelona and don’t know the language yet or If you've been living in Barcelona for a while but still haven't taken the plunge and started a Spanish course, this is your chance!

A Vermouth to Practice Spanish in Barcelona
Last Friday, we organized a very special activity that is always a great success among our students: a vermouth gathering in Spanish! We met at Vermuteria Puigmartí in the Gracia neighborhood. With a good vermouth, some exquisite patatas bravas, and a delicious cheese board, shyness gave way to laughter, and before we knew it, we had spent two hours chatting and joking in Spanish.

If you're wondering what to do in July in Barcelona, a great idea is to take advantage of your vacation weeks to improve your Spanish. At Dime School, we offer an intensive course with two hours of classes per day throughout the entire month of July. Plus, if you sign up before April 30, you’ll enjoy a 10% discount!

This Friday: A Vermouth in Spanish!
There’s no better plan than having a vermouth at midday, practicing your Spanish, and making new friends! In recent years, many vermouth bars have opened across almost every neighborhood in Barcelona, turning "vermuteo" into an essential social ritual for locals on the weekend. This Friday, we’re going "for a Vermouth" with our students. Join us and improve your Spanish while having fun!

Every Friday morning, our students participate in our conversation classes. We have three groups at different levels available. If you're interested, send us an email at info@dimebarcelona.com. We’ll assess your level with a free test and recommend the best group for you.
This Friday Culture Class: Introduction to Catalan
This Friday's culture class is dedicated to Catalan. The session will help you understand the differences between Spanish and Catalan and provide you with the basics to understand common Catalan phrases and expressions. It will be very useful for your daily life in Barcelona!
Last Friday’s culture class on the History of Barcelona
During the one-hour session, our teacher, Cristina Ruiz Gallardo, reviewed the key historical moments of the city: from its Roman origins and Visigothic rule, through the Islamic conquest and union with Aragon, to the times of industrialization and the Modernist period. The class was a great success!
Our extensive Spanish course at the A2 Plus level
On Monday and Wednesday mornings, we have an extensive intermediate-level course (A2 plus) with a wonderful group of students who are highly committed to their learning, very communicative, and willing to challenge themselves to improve their Spanish. Teaching and guiding them in their learning journey is truly a privilege!
