The first year of the Dime Spanish Literary Club has come to an end... and we'll be back in October!

Aprende español con novelas y lecturas guiadas

As June comes to a close, so does the first edition of the Dime Spanish Literary Club—an activity that has been as enriching as it has been stimulating. It has been a pleasure to accompany our students over the past few months, reading, discussing, and discovering stories together that have made us reflect, learn, and enjoy Spanish from a different angle: through literature.

Participants have greatly appreciated the experience, and most have already reserved their spot for the next term. We’ll resume the club in October, with new books and the same enthusiasm for sharing readings and learning together.

If you’re interested in improving your Spanish through reading, you’re welcome to join! For those of us who love books, there’s no better entertainment than a good story.

Reading in Spanish is an excellent way to expand your vocabulary, better understand the structure of the language, and open your mind to new perspectives. However, we know that facing a book in a foreign language can feel intimidating—vocabulary, cultural references, idiomatic expressions... That’s why we created the Dime Literary Club: a guided reading space within a school specialized in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

With the support of a teacher, students read texts selected for their level, analyze them, discuss them, and enjoy them as a group. Sessions are held every two weeks, allowing steady progress through the reading while building confidence in both comprehension and speaking.

We currently offer two levels:

  • A2/A2+: with adapted texts, perfect for learners who already have a solid foundation in Spanish but still need to build vocabulary progressively.
  • B1-B2: for those ready to take on original Spanish texts and dive deeper into the language through literature.

Beyond being a great learning opportunity, the club is also a space for connection: participants form bonds, share recommendations, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with fellow book lovers.
