This week the students of the extensive Spanish A1 group are learning Spanish verb conjugations. Sometimes it can be boring to memorize verb conjugations and their forms, so this morning our teacher used a well-known game to make the class more amusing and fun. In the second part of the class, the teacher divided the students into two groups and invited them to play Jenga. On each small wooden block, the students found an infinitive verb with which they had to make a simple sentence using the vocabulary learned in class. There were many funny sentences and lots of laughter until both colorful towers fell.
Playing in class not only makes learning more fun but also improves memorization and fosters a positive learning environment. Students feel motivated and actively participate in class activities. Additionally, playing games encourages socialization, creating a relaxed environment where students communicate in Spanish naturally.
