Cartel Vermut del viernes

Traditionally, in Catalonia, "going for a vermouth" means having a light meal at midday before sitting down for the main meal of the day. Over time, it has evolved into a social occasion, a moment to reconnect with friends and family. Today, it is a deeply rooted custom in Catalan culture.

Vermouth is a liqueur made from a handcrafted blend of wines and aromatic herbs, but the concept of "having a vermouth" no longer strictly refers to drinking. Instead, it is associated with enjoying pinchos, olives, anchovies, potatoes, and other delicious tapas and small dishes that accompany it. It is an aperitif that can be enjoyed standing or sitting, but always in good company.

Barcelona has embraced the vermouth tradition once again. In recent years, many vermouth bars have opened in almost every neighborhood in the city, turning "vermuteo" into an essential social ritual for locals on the weekend.

So, if you live in Barcelona, you can’t miss this event! We’ll be going for a vermouth in the Gràcia neighborhood, near the school.

When: This Friday, March 14th
Time: From 12:15 PM until we feel like leaving :)
Where: A vermouth bar in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona. We’ll send the meeting point to registered participants.

Pre-registration is required! Send an email to the school’s office to sign up.
