Barcelona walking tour

El Tibidabo. Barcelona

Barcelona is a beautiful city that invites you to walk through its streets and squares. If you are new to the city or will be moving soon, here is a walking tour you can take to discover the most famous and representative monuments and buildings.

The tour starts at Palau Güell and it ends at Sagrada Familia (uphill walk) but it can also be done the opposite way (downhill). It takes about 1h15 minutes without stops (4,6km), so please calculate accordingly in order to have time to enjoy the architecture. Somewhere around 3h30min should be enough, but it’s totally up to you :)

We recommend doing this tour in the morning or early afternoon because Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia area get quite busy in the late afternoon-evening.

Here’s a list of the monuments along the way and where to check some information about them in English:

Palau Güell
Catedral de Barcelona
Palau de la Música Catalana
Casa Batlló
Casa Milà (La Pedrera)
Casa de les Punxes
Sagrada Familia
