Every Friday morning, our students participate in our conversation classes. We have three groups at different levels available. If you're interested, send us an email at info@dimebarcelona.com. We’ll assess your level with a free test and recommend the best group for you.
This Friday's culture class is dedicated to Catalan. The session will help you understand the differences between Spanish and Catalan and provide you with the basics to understand common Catalan phrases and expressions. It will be very useful for your daily life in Barcelona!
During the one-hour session, our teacher, Cristina Ruiz Gallardo, reviewed the key historical moments of the city: from its Roman origins and Visigothic rule, through the Islamic conquest and union with Aragon, to the times of industrialization and the Modernist period.
