America’s cup
Barcelona is hosting the 37th edition of the America’s Cup (August 22 - late October). This thrilling competition (often referred to as the Formula 1 of the sea) will take place at Port Vell, Moll de la Fusta, and Port Olímpic, with various areas where spectators can enjoy the spectacle for free. Additionally, the city is hosting a wide variety of activities for the whole family, both in the port area and throughout the city
New Spanish Course for Absolute Beginners in October!
Next week, we are starting many new Spanish courses for foreigners. One of them will be a course for absolute beginners. If you've just moved to Barcelona and don't know the language yet, or if you've been in the city for a while but haven't found the right time to sign up for a course, this is your chance!
The festivals of La Mercè
The Festivals of La Mercè, celebrated around September 24th, have their origins in the 12th century. Although the festivities were originally religious, they evolved over time into more popular activities, culminating in the current celebrations that blend culture and entertainment for both adults and children.
Welcome to Dime!
This week, we have started our extensive Spanish courses at Dime. Many of our students have returned from summer vacation and have reunited with their classmates. Additionally, many new students have had their first in-person Spanish class. Welcome to everybody!

We are starting our extensive Spanish courses!
Next Monday, September 16th, we are starting many extensive in-person Spanish courses at our school, Dime. We are opening groups for various levels, from A1 to B1.2. We will also be opening new groups starting in October. If you're thinking about starting to learn Spanish, don't hesitate: September and October are the best months to begin a Spanish course!

September arrives, and with it comes the return to school, that is, back to school. Children and young people return to the classrooms to start a new school year. To start it in the best way, what better way than to familiarize ourselves with the basic vocabulary to face the first days? Here are the necessary words to make the return to school as easy as possible.

At Dime, we want to get to know all our students. It is very important for us to have a brief conversation with each student to understand their goals, objectives, and experience with the language. The interviews are completely free and can be done in person or online.

The Fiestas de Gracia
The Fiestas de Gracia in Barcelona (August 15th to 21st) originated in the 19th century as a religious celebration in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption. Over time, they evolved into a secular, community-focused event, known for the impressive street decorations made from recycled materials, which have become the main attraction and are part of a competition that rewards creativity.
