This week, our teacher Cristina Ruiz prepared a board with the conjugation of verbs in the present tense in Spanish. The board has been very helpful for our A1 level students to better understand how the present tense works in Spanish.
Autumn arrives, and with it, a lot of changes typical of this beautiful season. The days are shorter, the leaves fall from the trees, it starts to cool down, and the smell of roasted chestnuts fills the streets of the city. All these new things have their own specific vocabulary, so here are the 50 words you'll use the most in this season.

Last Friday, students from different Spanish courses at Dime enjoyed a wonderful excursion to El Borne. The students discovered many interesting facts about this famous neighborhood in Barcelona and had the opportunity to meet other students from the school.

Last week we started our conversation classes. We already have some groups active and will open more throughout October and November. If you're interested, send us an email, we’ll check your level with a free test and recommend the best group for you. Conversational lessons are one hour face-to-face sessions in reduced groups once a week on Friday mornings.
This morning, the students at Dime had the opportunity to enjoy an interesting class about Spanish festivals. They learned about the Cádiz Carnival, La Tomatina, San Fermín, and many other famous festivals celebrated in our country.
Barcelona is hosting the 37th edition of the America’s Cup (August 22 - late October). This thrilling competition (often referred to as the Formula 1 of the sea) will take place at Port Vell, Moll de la Fusta, and Port Olímpic, with various areas where spectators can enjoy the spectacle for free. Additionally, the city is hosting a wide variety of activities for the whole family, both in the port area and throughout the city

The Festivals of La Mercè, celebrated around September 24th, have their origins in the 12th century. Although the festivities were originally religious, they evolved over time into more popular activities, culminating in the current celebrations that blend culture and entertainment for both adults and children.
This week, we have started our extensive Spanish courses at Dime. Many of our students have returned from summer vacation and have reunited with their classmates. Additionally, many new students have had their first in-person Spanish class. Welcome to everybody!
